Nestled in Rangataua which is a sleepy quite village 5 minutes drive to the entrance of Mt Ruapehu Turoa side ski field
The School House has an open plan kitchen with this amazing view of Mt Ruapehu, The School House living area is open plan with breakfast bar dining area nearer the kitchen side of the lounge
The lounge is great with a white leather couch thick velvet curtains and furry rug next to the wood burning fire surrounded by logs it's girly romantic but has a wall mounted TV with SKY open plan to the breakfast bar and dining area for the men, a great place for groups of friends and families wanting to stay at home and dinner party / socialise watch the rugby or just relax
The kitchen has all amenities for basic dinner party arrangements
It has an impressive matai benchtop breakfast bar with stools and dinner table
The house has beautifully restored wooden floors with carpets in the bedrooms and scattered rugs
Average interior walls but nice on the eys decor throughout
THE SCHOOL HOUSE has three bedrooms sleeping 8
Two of the bedrooms have two Queen beds both with electric blankets the third bedroom has 4 single beds
The beds have duvets and pillows provided electric blankets or hot water bottles
There is a bathroom with bath/shower and a separate toilet in the hallway by the bedrooms
The house is a 5 minute drive into Ohakune or approx one hours walk for the light hearted in winter to Ohakune where the entrance to the Turoa Ski Field is and all the amenities such as super market Dr Pharmacy Dentist also restaurants nightclubs and pubs
There is parking for two or more cars off road
The ISITE taxis Shuttles and information are situated in Ohakune 5 minutes drive away
Ohakune also has a Cinema Climbing Wall Library Walking tracks Cycle Hire Ski Hire Gym Water rafting just to name a few
The School House is looked after by Mike he will make sure it is warm, ready, clean and all set up for your group
He will be on hand during your stay should any problems arise
